Our goal is to help people in the surrounding area learn
about poultry, the care of poultry, and the raising and
showing poultry in a fun environment. We have learning
activities and clinics for 4-H, FFA and these are also open
to the public. These activities help those involved to
prepare for shows. These programs include skillathons to
prepare for the county fair's livestock interviews, judging
to demonstrate how the the A.P.A. Standard of Perfection is
interpreted by the judges and tips for showmanship. The club
has many members with experience breeding and caring for
poultry.
In the spring we hold a large poultry show at the Auglaize
County Fairgrounds and in the summer we engage the youth to
prepare them with the skills needed for the showing of their
projects, including showmanship at the county fairs.

The show in 2014 will be a double show and your birds will be judged twice on the same day for one price.
We have moved the show to Allen County and are now in bigger and connected buildings. All buildings are
heated, have running water, and indoor restrooms. We have reorganized our staff to help keep everything more organized during the show.
